Educational assistance

Want to go back to school to boost your career? Salesforce will reimburse 100% of the costs of fees, tuition, and books for pre-approved, job-related courses taken at an accredited academic institution (i.e., a university, college, or language school)—up to $5,250 each calendar year. Refinancing Student Debt

For many of our employees and your family members, going to college or graduate school will require you to pay off student loans for many years to come. SoFi, the largest provider of student loan refinancing, may be able to reduce the cost of that debt. SoFi refinances student loan debt at lower rates than federal and/or private options, saving their borrowers $14K on average. The main benefits include:

24-hour travel assistance

Salesforce is committed to ensure that employees traveling to any destination depart with the knowledge needed for a safe trip. To accomplish this, the Corporate Security team utilizes a variety of internal resources, private corporations and government agencies to maintain oversight of worldwide events that may impact employees traveling on business. The information gathered from these sources is funneled through the Salesforce Global Operations (GO) Center where it is reviewed and acted upon as needed.

Travel safety services provided by the Corporate Security team include:

  • Hotel Recommendations
  • Travel Safety Advice
  • 24/7 Monitoring of Travel Destinations Worldwide
  • Detailed security briefings for employee traveling to elevated risk destinations 

Emergency travel assistance

International SOS provides emergency assistance while traveling abroad. All employees and their family members are covered by our best in class emergency assistance program. In any emergency, all you have to do is call ISOS and a medical, safety or security expert will be there to help.

There’s no need to enroll in this program. All active employees are automatically covered when they leave their home country. Your spouse/domestic partner and children, under the age of 23, are also covered if they’re traveling with you.

All care should be coordinated through International SOS. There is an agreement in place where ISOS will automatically bill our insurance carriers Cigna Medical Benefits Abroad [PDF] and Chubb Business Travel Accident [PDF].

Matching gifts

Donate to an eligible nonprofit organization and will match your gift (minimum US$50 donation required). Every employee gets US$2,500 in matching gifts at the start of the fiscal year, and unlocks an additional US$2,500 after completing and logging 7 days (56 hours) of volunteer time.
