ESPP

We believe in sharing success. That’s why we offer the ESPP, which gives you the opportunity to purchase Salesforce stock shares at a discount.

Here’s how it works:

  • Each year, there are two special enrollment periods for the ESPP: May 1–31 and November 1–30.
  • When you enroll, you choose to contribute between 2% and 15% of your eligible compensation to purchase the shares on an after-tax basis.
  • Shares are purchased on June 15 and December 15.
  • The amount you pay for the shares is determined by using the lower of two prices—the offering date price or the purchase date price—plus an additional 15% discount.

Visit this website during enrollment periods to get more details about participating in the program.

Take a minute to learn about the ESPP.

You get one week of unpaid sabbatical for each full year of employment. You can take it a week per year or bank it and take it in larger amounts at a later date.

For more information about how to take advantage of this program and things to consider before taking your sabbatical, please review the Sabbatical Policy and FAQs.

If you have questions, post them to the Employee Success Chatter groups with the hash tag #sabbaticals or check Concierge.

The top 100 eligible volunteers will be rewarded with a $10,000 Champion grant to the nonprofit organization of their choice.

24-hour travel assistance

Salesforce is committed to ensure that employees traveling to any destination depart with the knowledge needed for a safe trip. To accomplish this, the Corporate Security team utilizes a variety of internal resources, private corporations and government agencies to maintain oversight of worldwide events that may impact employees traveling on business. The information gathered from these sources is funneled through the Salesforce Global Operations (GO) Center where it is reviewed and acted upon as needed.

Travel safety services provided by the Corporate Security team include:

  • Flight Tracking
  • Hotel Recommendations
  • Travel Safety Advice
  • 24/7 Monitoring of Travel Destinations Worldwide
  • Detailed security briefings for employee traveling to elevated risk destinations

Emergency travel assistance

International SOS provides emergency assistance while traveling abroad. All employees and their family members are covered by our best in class emergency assistance program. In any emergency, all you have to do is call ISOS and a medical, safety or security expert will be there to help.

There’s no need to enroll in this program. All active employees are automatically covered when they leave their home country. Your spouse/domestic partner and children, under the age of 23, are also covered if they’re traveling with you.

All care should be coordinated through International SOS. There is an agreement in place where ISOS will automatically bill our insurance carriers Cigna Medical Benefits Abroad [PDF] and Chubb Business Travel Accident [PDF].
